India - Indonesia MoU on Scientific and Technological Cooperation, 2018

MoUs recording bilateral cooperation between R&D laboratories and companies from India and Indonesia, Information and Communication Technology, Marine Science & Technology and Life Sciences (including Biotechnology, Agriculture and Biomedical Sciences) were signed.

Potential bilateral collaboration in the domain of Defence

During the recently conclude Defence Ministers’ Dialogue between India and Indonesia, areas of potential bilateral collaboration were identified in the domains of defence industry and defence technologies.

The Heads of State emphasized on sustaining collaboration in pharmaceutical and maritime domain during the bilateral conversation.

5th India-Indonesia Joint Working Group on Coal

During the meeting, representatives from both nations held discussions on the bilateral exploration of Commercial Mining, Coking Coal as well as Indonesian Coal Policy and updates. The CII also facilitated a session on how policy and execution issues could be tackled through the forum. Sustained dialogue is expected to be maintained through the forum.
