PM Modi unveils 112 National Highway projects

Prime Minister inaugurated a pivotal 19-kilometer section in Haryana, enhancing connectivity to Gurugram Bypass and Delhi's IGI airport

A total of 112 projects were inaugurated and initiated, with an estimated value of INR 1 lakh crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 112 National Highway projects nationwide. These projects will boost India’s social and economic development. The total value of these projects is estimated to be around INR 1 lakh crore.

The Prime Minister inaugurated several sections of newly constructed roads across various states in India. One of them is a 19-kilometer section in Haryana that is part of the Dwarka Expressway, which consists of two sections. This road will enhance connectivity to the Gurugram Bypass and Delhi’s IGI airport.

Another section the Prime Minister inaugurated is a 9.6 km long six-lane wide section between Nangloi-Najafgarh Road and Sector 24 in Dwarka, Delhi. Additionally, three packages in Uttar Pradesh have been built at a cost of about INR 4,600 crores, a section of NH16 constructed in Andhra Pradesh at a cost of about INR 2,950 crores, two packages of NH-21 built in Himachal Pradesh at a cost of INR 3,400 crores, and two sections in Karnataka worth INR 2,750 crores were also inaugurated.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for many other projects, including fourteen packages costing INR 14,000 crores in Andhra Pradesh, six projects costing INR. 8,000 crores in Karnataka, three packages worth INR 4,900 crores in Haryana, two packages worth INR 3,800 crores in Punjab, and thirty-nine other projects amounting to INR 32,700 crores, located in various states across the country.
