External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on November 12 on the sidelines of the G7 Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Canada. The meeting focused on trade, supply-chain cooperation, and shared geopolitical challenges.
In a post on the social-media platform X, Jaishankar noted that he appreciated Rubio’s condolences following a blast in Delhi, and highlighted their discussions on bilateral trade and supply chains. They also exchanged views on the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, situations in the Middle East/West Asia, and developments in the Indo-Pacific region.
