IT industry is booming, plans to hire about 3.6 lakh freshers by March

Forecasts say that the IT industry will continue to witness an upward growth of 22.3% in the third quarter, from 19.5% in the second quarter, between 22% to 24%

The IT industry will grow about 19 - 21% in the current financial year, as per the report.

The industry is booming and is expected to see massive growth in the upcoming years.

About 3.6 lakh freshers in the services industry are expected to be hired by the Indian IT companies in the current financial year, as per the Market Intelligence firm Unearthinsight. 

Forecasts say that the IT industry will continue to witness an upward growth of 22.3% in the third quarter, from 19.5% in the second quarter, between 22% to 24%. Nonetheless, FY23 is going to see an improvement and will reduce to 16% to 18%, as per the report.

Irrespective of the Pandemic, the IT industry has shown resilient growth. The current financial year looks promising with the industry being able to achieve commendable revenue growth and will continue to employ more workforce, as per the estimates. 

It also estimates that the IT industry will grow about 19 – 21% in the current financial year with it being the highest sector further accelerating the pace at which the industry is expected to see results in the upcoming years.
