With the aim of boosting Make in India, promoting domestic manufacturing and employment, foster innovation, skill development and facilitate exports, the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with CII is organizing the National Consultation Forum for Make in India 2.0 “Towards Achieving $1 Trillion Manufacturing Economy by Stimulating Growth & Investments in Indian Manufacturing” on January 7, 2020, in New Delhi.
The DPIIT, through extensive stakeholder consultations, has identified 15 Champion sectors to give a renewed focus to Make in India 2.0 and promote the Manufacturing sector.
The Forum will curate focused sessions on each of the Champion Sector and discuss key short term recommendations, roadblocks and identify quick win solutions to push manufacturing in the champion sectors.
The Forum will also bring together policymakers, corporate leaders, CXOs and opinion makers who will share practical solutions for manufacturing development to make an inscription into the National Roadmap.
