FICCI has been instrumental in driving policy changes through its various sectoral committees representing diverse segments of the Indian economy. To advance its agenda on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), FICCI established a dedicated sectoral Task Force. This Task Force is committed to promoting inclusive organizational policies across Indian corporates, emphasizing gender diversity, equity for people with disabilities, and representation from the LGBTQIA+ community.
Under the aegis of the Task Force, FICCI has instituted the FICCI Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Awards with an aim to acknowledge organizations and their initiatives that have demonstrated a commitment to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion at the workplace.
The 1st Edition of The FICCI Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Awards 2023-24 aims to identify and recognize efforts of companies in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion at their workplaces.
The selection process for the FICCI DE&I Awards is extremely competitive and is assessed through a 3-tier assessment process. Nominations received shall be thoroughly scrutinized by FICCI team and independent assessors. Subsequently, the assessors shall conduct a virtual assessment of the DE&I work of the shortlisted companies. The final selection for the Awards shall be made by an Independent Jury comprising eminent personalities from different spheres.
