As India strives to become a developed economy by 2047, the power sector is pivotal in driving economic growth and ensuring energy security. To address the challenges and opportunities presented by this transformation, the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) is organizing a two-day Brainstorming Conclave on Indian Power Sector Scenario by 2047 in association with FICCI.
Coinciding with CEA’s Golden Jubilee celebration, this event will provide a unique platform for industry experts, policymakers, researchers, and international organizations to discuss the future of the Indian power sector.
Key topics to be discussed include renewable energy integration and grid modernization, energy storage technologies and their applications, cross-border electricity trade and regional cooperation, consumer behaviour and emerging trends in the power sector, policy and regulatory frameworks for a sustainable power sector, and technological advancements and innovations in the power sector.
By fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration, this event aims to develop a comprehensive vision for the Indian power sector by 2047. It will also serve as a platform for CEA to highlight its contributions to the development of the power sector over the past 50 years.
