India test fires BrahMos Supersonic cruise missile successfully

India successfully test fired surface-to-surface BrahMos Supersonic cruise missile in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

The Defence Ministry mentioned that it is a major achievement for India since the missile hit its target with absolute accuracy.

Additionally, India is also working on the new air-launched version of the BrahMos Supersonic that has the capability to strike enemy targets at more than 800 kilometers.

Earlier, after being released from a Su-30MKI combat aircraft, its maximum capacity was to hit targets as far as 300 kilometers.

Recently, the BrahMos missile was in the news since one of it was mis-fired due to a technical malfunction from an Indian Air force unit.

Additionally, India is also working on a new air-launched version of the BrahMos Supersonic that has the potential to strike enemy targets at more than 800 kilometers. 

Recently, the same BrahMos missile was in the news as one of it was mis-fired due to a technical malfunction.
